DINGWALL, Dingwall & Highland Marts Ltd., (May, 22nd) sold the complete dispersal of the pedigree Shorthorn herd from Smallburn Farm comprising of 21 adult head of breeding cattle.

Lot 1 - Shawhill Fancy sired by Alvie Blue Eyedboy she has a heifer calf at foot and is back in calf to Meonside Javelin she sold for 4,000gns to Messrs S. & M. MacKenzie, Auchmore Farm, Muir of Ord.

Lot 2 - Lowther Sally sired by Blelack Minstrel with her bull calf at foot sold for 4,800gns to Messrs S. & M. MacKenzie, Auchmore Farm.

Lot 3 – Smallburn Fifi sired by LS Arctic with her bull calf at foot sold for 3,600gns to Mr T. Alexander, Springmount Road, Northern Ireland.

Lot 4 – Smallburn Jilly sired by Creaga Dice with her bull calf at foot sold for 5,800gns to Messrs Glenrinnes Farms Limited, Dufftown, Keith.

Lot 5 – Smallburn Flora sired by Glenford Gus with her bull calf at foot sold for 2,400gns to Mr J. Sephton, East Balhagerty, Laurencekirk.

Lot 6 – Smallburn Hilary sired by Star P Matrix with her heifer calf at foot sold for 4,600gns to Messrs E. & I. Kemp. Harston Park, Orkney.

Lot 7 – Smallburn Haley sired by Blelack Minstrel with her bull calf at foot sold for 3,400gns to The Firm of William Watt, Birkenburn, Keith.
