Fixed Mortgage Rates Fall Across The Spectrum

Moneyfacts UK Mortgage Trends Treasury Report data reveals fixed mortgage rates have fallen across the spectrum and the average shelf-life of a mortgage rose month-on-month.   Average mortgage rates on the overall two- and five-year fixed rate deals fell month-on-month by 0.21% and 0.18% respectively.

According to the recent Big Scottish Scam Survey, some of the most common scams experienced by Scottish consumers are so-called 'Hello Mum/Dad' scams.   This is when a scammer poses as a family member or friend and sends messages via text or WhatsApp to ask you to transfer money to pay an urgent bill or invoice.
