DINGWALL, Dingwall & Highland Marts Ltd., (August, 10th) sold 53 prime cattle.  Prime bullocks (18) averaged 167.5p (-1.7p) and sold to 175p per kg and �1,229.25 gross.

DINGWALL, Dingwall & Highland Marts Ltd., (July, 21st) sold 75 prime cattle.  Prime bullocks (45) averaged 161.3p (-5.0p) and sold to 177p per kg and �1,174.55 gross.  

Dingwall & Highland Marts Ltd - Sale 15 July 2009

DINGWALL, Dingwall & Highland Marts Ltd, (July, 15th) sold 1,249 store cattle at the Anniversary show and sale.  The Judge, Mr Tom Stevenson of Balmacolly Farm, Bankfoot, chose a 435kg junior Limousin cross bullock from Messrs Smallburn Farms Ltd, Duffus, Elgin, which realised �1,050, as his Overall Champion in the T.S.H.

DINGWALL, Dingwall & Highland Marts Ltd., (July, 1st) sold 60 store cattle and 34 OTM cattle.  Bullocks (27) averaged 159.2p and sold to 177.7p per kg and �735 gross.

DINGWALL, Dingwall & Highland Marts Ltd., (June, 2nd) sold 73 prime cattle.  Prime bullocks (53) averaged 169.9p (+1.4) and sold to 188p per kg and �1,216.60 gross.  

The North Highland Initiative announces new Chairman

David Whiteford has been appointed as the new Chairman of The Prince's North Highland Initiative.  Mr Whiteford will take up the position on 1st June 2009.

DINGWALL, Dingwall & Highland Marts Ltd., (May, 6th) sold 164 adult head of breeding cattle including dispersals from The Crofters Commission, Knocknagael of 22 adult head averaging �2,430, Messrs W C McBean & Co., Milton of Gollanfield of 63 adult head averaging �1,451, and from Mrs J Patience, Brae of Balnabeen of 22 adult head averaging �1,778.  Heifer with male calf (4) sold to �1,900 for a Simmental cross cow from Upper Muckovie, Inverness.

DINGWALL, Dingwall and Highland Marts Ltd, (April 1st) sold 810 store cattle and 23 OTM cattle at their annual show and sale, where all classes met a fantastic trade.  Bullocks (482) averaged 186.6p and sold to 235.2p per kg for a pen of 253kg Luing crosses from No.
