Update On The Pivotal Enterprise Resilience Fund
5th May 2020
Message From HIE To Businesses.
Last week, we contacted you to make you aware of new COVID-19 business funds that had been made available, following the Scottish Government's announcement of an additional £100m support for businesses impacted by COVID-19. There has been a very high interest in the funds. We wanted to let you know that the Pivotal Enterprise Resilience Fund will pause for live applications from 5pm today (5 May 2020) to allow partners to conduct a detailed review of the initial submissions received. The aim is to reopen the fund next week
The Pivotal Enterprise Resilience Fund is a bespoke needs-based fund and partners will be assessing the viability, vulnerability and how vital each business applicant is to the future of Scotland's economy. Partners are committed to doing everything they can to ensure as many businesses can benefit from the funding and that those who need it most and have the greatest impact on our local, regional and national economies are supported. More information on this decision by partners of the fund can be viewed here
The other recently announced funds are unaffected by this change:
Creative, Tourism and Hospitality Enterprises Hardship Fund - this fund remains open for applications and businesses are encouraged to check if eligible and, where appropriate, proceed to apply.
Newly Self-Employed Hardship Fund - this fund remains open for applications.
We will continue to keep in touch with you on developments in relation to the funds and other business support activities related to Covid-19 on our website, social media and by email.
Thank you for your ongoing support as we work in partnership to help companies navigate these difficult and challenging circumstances.
