Mackays Hotel asks - 'What are you celebrating?'
Everyone has something to celebrate. You could have an important birthday coming up, a special anniversary, a graduation or a wedding. No matter what your special day is Mackays Hotel will help you celebrate it.
In the one of a kind Celebration Fair, Mackays will feature a host of exhibitors who can help with any special day. Exhibitors such as magicians, photographers, dress-makers and bakers will be there chat to guests and showcase their skills.
The fair will take place on Sunday 7 November from 12pm until 4pm in the ballroom and dining room in Mackays Hotel. The fair will also include a fantastic walkthrough catwalk where models will mingle with guests and answer any questions they may have.
When guests enter the Fair they will be asked what they are celebrating. They will then be given the option to wear a badge of their celebration for the rest of the day so the appropriate exhibitors will know who to target and give samples to.
Ellie Lamont, who is co-ordinating the Celebration Fair says, "At Mackays, we have a history of seeing families through the special occasions in their lives. Family celebrations are part of our brickwork; it could be a wedding, your child's naming day, birthdays or special anniversaries.
Our unique archive makes it easy to recreate an event from the past if a daughter wants a similar occasion to her mother. We recognise that making your day perfect is our only concern."
Proceeds from the price of the exhibitor stalls will go to the RNLI Wick, the charity that saves lives at sea and Macmillan Cancer Support.
