Turnover Boost Sees Financial Advice Firm Expand In Caithness
9th February 2023
Award-winning, Independent Financial Advisory firm, Phil Anderson Financial Services has expanded it's Caithness operation with the opening of a new office and the appointment of additional team member.
Following a record year, achieving a turnover of £1.63million, a 22% increase from the year before the firm has opened a new office at 13 Kirk Lane in Wick. The firm has had Kayleigh Ross working as a mortgage adviser from her home for the past two years and she will now be based at the Wick office along with recent recruit Louise Cormack.
Commenting on the new office Managing Director, Phil Anderson, said "It is great to expand our operation in Caithness. Having the new office in Wick will give us more visibility in the town and will allow us to help more people with pension, investment and mortgage advice."
Phil Anderson Financial Services has had a presence in Caithness for several years. The business took over CRB Investment from Richard Bain over 10 years ago and already has several clients in Caithness. Mortgage Adviser Kayleigh Ross said "It is great to finally have the office open. Covid delayed things slightly however it is great to now have the office opened in Wick. We have seen quite a demand for mortgage advice in the area and with several local banks closing I am delighted to be able to offer face-to-face appointments in Wick."
Despite the challenges the economy has seen over the last two years, the firm saw an increase in clients across each area of their service offering, in particular an increase in pension enquiries in 2022. Commenting on her new appointment Louise Cormack said "I am excited to join a firm with such a good reputation as Phil Anderson Financial Services. Last year they were named as one of the best financial advisers to work for and it is great to be part of the team."
