Invitation to Tender for Framework Contractors

North Highland College UHI wish to invite tenders from suitably qualified contractors to be placed on a preferred contractor's framework for planned and reactive maintenance at their sites in Caithness, Sutherland and Ross-shire.
The College will require separate trade tenders for each of the trades listed below and suppliers can tender for more than one trade - but separately - if they have the requisite skills.
Plumbing work
Heating and Mechanical works
Joinery Services
Painting & Decorating
Builderwork
Roof works
Refrigeration & Air Conditioning
It is envisaged that the framework will be in place by 30 November 2014 and run for a period of three years with a possible extension of 1 year.
Your tender should include a schedule of rates for the different grades of trade operatives; management overheads (if applicable) and any travel costs if they are to be separately charged. You must have or are willing to procure, public liability insurance and your tender should confirm either its existence or you willingness - if successful - to have this insurance. In addition customer references would be helpful.
The award will be on the basis of the tendered costs and it is anticipated that a minimum of two contractors and a maximum of three will be appointed under each trade.
Your tenders should be returned in a sealed envelope marked "FRAMEWORK TENDER" no later than 12 noon on 24th October and should be addressed to Mrs Ann Dods, Estates Manager, North Highland College, Ormlie Road, Thurso KW14 7EE
