Wholesale & retail Fishmongers established in Scrabster in 1992
Wholesale :
Supplying the freshest local seafood to Hotels, Restaurants, Fishing & Shooting Lodges, Guest Houses etc
Wide range of fish and shellfish supplied direct from local boats and Scrabster fish market. We also produce and sell our own smoked fish and cooked local shellfish.
We can deliver wholesale orders on a weekly basis across Caithness and Sutherland.
Retail Fish:
We sell our range of products through our two retail shops in Wick and Thurso (see "The fish Shop by JPL" at 11 Rotterdam Street Thurso (01847 89 5080)
and 103 High Street Wick- 01955 60 3666)
We also have two retail vans which sell a wide range of seafood direct to your door on a weekly basis (see "The Fish Van by JPL")
Shellfish Merchants:
We trade in local Shellfish which we export to Europe on a weekly basis and we are always interested in new suppliers. Please contact us regarding pickups and prices.
Genuine Wild Scottish salmon:
We own and operate the most northerly bag-netting salmon station on mainland Britain.
We supply our own retail outlets with whole fish, steaks and fillets. We can also supply whole boxes to part pallets of fish to wholesalers across the UK.

Growing worldwide demand for Caithness seafood company's produce
A Caithness based processor and supplier of locally sourced shellfish is to further expand its premises to help manage the growing worldwide demand for its products. Highlands and Islands Enterprise (HIE) is supporting JPL Shellfish with a grant of £60,000 which will also allow the company to increase its workforce.

Twenty years of success for Caithness shellfish company
A Caithness based processor and supplier of locally sourced shellfish which recently expanded its business is celebrating 20 years of success based at Scrabster harbour. JPL Shellfish has been serving customers across the UK since it was established in 1992, and an increase in requests to export live shellfish to new international markets has resulted in an expansion of its premises.
