New Scheme To Improve Healthcare For Veterans

Veterans and armed forces families are set to benefit from more tailored healthcare under a new GP scheme focused on the specific health challenges they may face following military service.   The General Practice Armed Forces and Veterans Recognition Scheme is now open to GP surgeries across Scotland following a successful pilot.

I've Started Viewing Houses - But The Crash Is Not Over! (uk House Price Crash)

UK House Prices are currently FALLING at the FASTEST rate since the Global Financial Crisis, so why have I decided to START VIEWING properties NOW when house prices are widely predicted to continue FALLING throughout 2024? The UK housing market crash started over a year ago, however, so far the major House Price Indexes such as Nationwide, Halifax, Rightmove and the ONS/Land Registry have yet to report any major falls.  Even the most bearish HPIs only show that house prices have fallen approximately 5% over the past year.

West Of Orkney Windfarm Submits Onshore Planning Application - Landfall In Caithness

The onshore application provides detailed information on the proposed cable landfalls on the north Caithness coast, the project's substation at or near Spittal in Caithness and the underground cables which will extend around 20km and connect to the substation.   Last year, the West of Orkney Windfarm secured the development rights to an area of seabed from Crown Estate Scotland in the highly competitive ScotWind leasing process to bring forward an offshore windfarm 30km west of the Orkney Mainland and 25km north of the Sutherland coast.

New Funding To Fuel Space Sustainability

The UK Space Agency is funding research into refuelling an upcoming mission to remove space junk, which could help prolong the life of satellites and prevent adding more debris to the space environment.   A total of £2 million is available for feasibility studies that can demonstrate the ability to refuel a UK national debris removal mission and look at opportunities for refuelling a commercial satellite as well.
