What the job involves
The successful candidate will work with the harbour's board and team to:
- Lead the harbour's masterplan and long-term development strategy.
- Identify commercial opportunities in offshore wind, renewable energy, cargo, cruise, fishing and marine leisure.
- Develop business cases, investment proposals and funding applications.
- Lead strategic marine infrastructure and capital projects.
- Build relationships with customers, investors, government and industry.
- Manage consultants and provide strategic advice and progress reports to the board.
The harbour is seeking an experienced senior professional with a strong background in commercial development, infrastructure, maritime activities or a related sector. Experience in ports, offshore wind, renewable energy or major infrastructure would be advantageous.
