Dingwall & Highland Marts Ltd - Sale 9th april 2014

DINGWALL, Dingwall & Highland Marts Ltd., (April, 9th) sold 735 Aberdeen Angus, native bred and continental store cattle in a special show and sale and 29 OTM cattle.  Aberdeen Angus bullocks (283) averaged 229.8p and sold to 274.6p per kilo for a pen of five 346kg Aberdeen Angus crosses from North Calder, Halkirk, and £1,380 gross for a pen of 687kg Aberdeen Angus crosses from Hilton Farm, Tain.

DINGWALL, Dingwall & Highland Marts Ltd., (April, 2nd) sold 1,094 store cattle and 28 OTM cattle.  Bullocks (714) averaged 244.4p and sold to 312.2p per kg for a pen of 378kg a Limousin crosses from Westburn, Thurso, and £1,400 gross for a pair of 575kg Limousin crosses from Woodend, Muir of Ord.

DINGWALL, Dingwall & Highland Marts, (March, 26th) sold 2,177 sheep of all classes.  Lambs (652) averaged £57.60 and sold to £90 gross for Texel crosses from Heathmount, Tain.

DINGWALL, Dingwall & Highland Marts Ltd., (March, 19th) sold 620 store cattle, 2 adult head of breeding cattle and 48 OTM cattle.  Bullocks (355) averaged 245.4p and sold to 304.0p per kg for a 375kg Limousin cross from Lower Whitebog, Fortrose, and £1,440 gross for a pen of 660kg Charolais crosses from Redfield, North Kessock.

DINGWALL, Dingwall & Highland Marts, (March, 12th) sold 2,136 sheep of all classes.  Lambs (908) averaged £58.89 and sold to £87 gross for Suffolk crosses from Ashley, North Kessock.

DINGWALL, Dingwall & Highland Marts Ltd., (March, 5th) sold 624 store cattle, 40 adult head of breeding cattle and 58 OTM cattle.  Bullocks (360) averaged 242.8p and sold to 315.6p per kg for a 208kg Limousin cross from Lower Gartally, Drumnadrochit, and £1,460 gross for a 615kg Charolais cross from Druid Temple Farm, Inverness.
