Bullocks (336) averaged 219.9p and sold to 273.1p per kg for a pair of 216kg Limousin crosses from 1 Obbe Road, Leverburgh and £1,185 gross for a 595kg Simmental cross from Kincraig Farm, Invergordon.

Heifers (327) averaged 213.8p and sold to 300.0p per kg for a 420kg Aberdeen Angus cross from Kincraig Farm and £1,320 gross for a 530kg Charolais cross also from Kincraig Farm.

Young bulls (20) sold to 250.0p per kg for a 152kg Whitebred Shorthorn from Mucomir Farm, Spean Bridge and £1,000 gross for a 465kg Limousin from Strone Farm, Banavie.

"All classes met a firm trade with all types keenly bid for."
