INGWALL, Dingwall & Highland Marts Ltd., (September, 10th) sold 8,125 store lambs.
Cheviot wedder lambs (6,822) averaged £54.95 and sold to £74.50 gross for a pen of lambs from No. 1 Wester Alligan, Torridon.
Cheviot ewe lambs (1,027) averaged £59.84 and sold to £92 gross for a pen of lambs from Pabbay Farm, Isle of Pabbay.
All other breeds (276) averaged £62.30 and sold to £76 gross for a pen of Texel crosses from Allangrange Park, Muir of Ord.
"All classes met a strong trade from start to finish."
