FORT WILLIAM, Dingwall and Highland Marts Ltd., (October, 15th) sold 231 weaned calves and store cattle, 30 OTM cattle and 3 adult head of breeding cattle.

Bullocks (139) averaged 240.7p and sold to 282.1p per kg for a pair of 140kg Limousin crosses from Ardnamurchan Estates, Kilchoan, and £870 gross for a pair of 420kg Salers crosses from 2 & 3 Kinloid, Arisaig.

Heifers (88) averaged 206.9p and sold to 250.0p per kg for a pair of 220kg Limousin crosses from Keppoch Farms, Roy Bridge, and £670 gross for a 365kg Limousin cross from Insh Farm, Spean Bridge.

Young Bulls (4) sold to 317.9p per kg and £620 gross for a pen of 195kg Charolais crosses from Moy Farm, Banavie.

Breeding cattle (3) sold to £780 gross for an in calf Simmental cross cow from Luinga Mhor, Arisaig.

OTM cattle (30) sold to 134.7p per kg for a 735kg Limousin cross cow from 8, 9 & 10 Cuilchenna, Onich, and £1,010 gross for a 805kg Aberdeen Angus cross cow from Toriri, Corpach.
