DINGWALL, Dingwall & Highland Marts Ltd, (October, 23rd) sold 586 rams at its annual sale of North County Hill Cheviots.
Shearlings (94) sold to £3,200 gross twice from Rhifail Farms.
Two shears (392) sold to £6,200 gross from Inverbroom, Ullapool.
Three shears (81) sold to £5,000 gross from Badanloch, Kinbrace.
Four shears (13) sold to £3,500 gross from Armadale, Thurso.
Aged (6) sold to £450 gross from Wester Dunnet, Thurso.
"Although numbers less than last year, buyers once again bought strong for quality and character rams."
