DINGWALL, Dingwall & Highland Marts Ltd., (December 2nd) 2nd special sale of breeding cattle sold 97 adult head of breeding cattle 13 OTM cattle.

Heifers (9) sold to £1,260 gross from Clury Farm, Dulnain Bridge.

In calf heifers (35) sold to £2,100 gross for Limousin crosses from Rychraggan, Drumnadrochit, (trice), and Simmental crosses from Folly, West Murkle, Thurso, (twice).

In calf cows (36) sold to £1,180 gross for Limousin crosses from the part dispersal of Glenhinnisdale, Portree, (5 times).

Heifers with calves at foot (3) sold to £2,120 gross for a Limousin cross cow with a Limousin cross heifer calf from 9 Balmacara, Kyle of Lochalsh.

Cow with calves at foot (22) sold to £2,300 gross for a Saler cow with a Charolais cross male calf from Whitebog, Rosemarkie.

Breeding bull (one) sold to £1,500 gross for a Limousin from Glenhinnisdale.

OTM cattle (13) sold to 126.7p per kilo for a 750kg Simmental cross from Coul of Fairburn, Urray, and £970 gross for a 995kg Limousin bull from Knocknagael Farm, Inverness and a Limousin cross cow from Coul of Fairburn.
