DINGWALL, Dingwall & Highland Marts Ltd, (September 26th) sold 384 rams and females at its annual show and sale of Cheviot and Continental rams and females.
The overall show champion and winner of the Mountrich trophy was a Texel ram lamb from Ravensview, Strathpeffer, which realised £480 to Conon Brae Farms, Torgorm, Conon Bridge. The Cheviot champion was a shearling from Wemyss Castle Home Farm, Fife, realising £500 to Messrs M. R. McCallum & Co., Woodlands, Dingwall.
