DINGWALL, Dingwall & Highland Marts Ltd., (September, 30th) sold 703 store cattle and 15 OTM cattle.
The judge, Mr T. Henderson, Udale, awarded the champion to a 510kg Limousin bullock from Firm of J. Munro & Son, Invercharron, Ardgay, realising �1000 to the judge. The reserve from Mr D. Dalgetty, 21 Cabrich, Inverness, was a 475kg Limousin bullock realising �940 also to the judge.

Bullocks (402) averaged 182.7p and sold to 273.9p per kg for a 230kg Limousin cross from 4 Borve, Isle of Harris, and �1,065 gross for 595kg Limousin bullock from Sunnylea, Balblair.
Heifers (301) averaged 173.1p and sold to 212.9p per kg for a pen of 350kg Limousin crosses from Fornighty Farm, Nairn, and �1,000 gross for a 565kg Limousin cross from 3 Glaick, Ardross.
OTM cows (15) averaged 103.7p and sold to 124.8p per kg for a 605kg Limousin cross from 4 Glaick and �765 gross for a 680kg Simmental cross also from 4 Glaick.
