Feeding sheep (168) sold to £180 gross for a "classy lassie" Texel ewe from Wester Moy, Urray.
“New season lambs met a firm enquiry by the eager buyers in waiting. All classes were sharper on the week with a seriously light show forward for weight, which hinders the grass pounds per head average. The brisk bidding carried forward into the ewe ring and all classes were again dearer. Some new faces were present today and went home with their expectations well and truly satisfied. Vendors should be encouraged to take advantage of these fabulous returns and here at Dingwall we can cater sheep from all corners”
