Cheviot wedder lambs (1,185) averaged £62.53 (up £3.63 on the year) and sold to £82 gross from Ham Farm, Thurso and Ardchronie, Ardgay.
Cheviot ewe lambs (210) averaged £65.12 (up £5.41 on the year) and sold to £86 gross from 1 Kinloid, Arisaig.
Texel and Texel cross lambs (1,268) averaged £72.96 (up £3.36 on the year) and sold to £114 gross from Broombank, Inverness.
Suffolk cross lambs (1,268) averaged £73.61 (up £4.29 on the year) and sold to £95.50 gross from 1 Obbe Road, Leverburgh.
Beltex cross lambs (521) averaged £75.58 (up £5.80 on the year) and sold to £101 gross from Fair A Far, Kirkhill.
Cross lambs (596) averaged £58.73 (up £0.81 on the year) and sold to £80 gross from Strone Farm, Banavie.
Other breeds (949) averaged £61.50(up £8.99 on the year) and sold to £90.50 gross for a pen of Cheviot mules from Pithogarty, Tain.
"Part two of the annual two-day sheep sale extravaganza continued on from yesterday's bonanza of a trade. Another packed ringside was out in force and trade was tremendous from start to finish. The consignments from Lewis livestock met a firm enquiry throughout with plenty of buyers eager to purchase lambs that will thrive with the smell of grass."
