Prime heifers (18) averaged 242.4p (+4.3p) and sold to 254.0p per kg for a 570kg Limousin cross from Bridgend Farm, Dingwall selling to Messrs Fraser Brothers, Butchers, Dingwall and £1,557.60 gross for a 660kg Charolais cross from Mountrich Farm, Dingwall.

Feeding sheep (465) sold to £140 gross for a Texel ewe from 256 Rearquhar, Dornoch.
“A similar number of lambs forward saw all classes easier on the week. Some store types that were forward hindered the sale average but the lambs with weight and flesh were keenly bid for. Another grand number of ewes forward saw more meat around than that witnessed in previous weeks. Trade would be a touch sharper and many more could easily have been sold”
