Prime heifers (7) averaged 243.4p (-2.5p) and sold to 249.0p per kg for a 595kg Limousin cross from Mountrich Farm, Dingwall selling to Messrs John M Munro Ltd, Dingwall and for a 585kg Limousin cross also from Mountrich Farm selling to Messrs Fraser Brothers, Butchers, Dingwall and £1,512.00 gross for a 630kg Charolais cross also from Mountrich Farm selling to Messrs John M Munro Ltd, Dingwall.

Old season lambs (399) averaged 249.9p (+4.6p) and sold to 283.0p per kg for a pair of 44kg Beltex crosses from Torgorm, Conon Bridge and £129.50 gross for 57.5kg Texel crosses from Wester Coltfield, Kinloss.
Feeding sheep (429) sold to £188 gross for a Texel ram from Charleston, North Kessock.

"A few less numbers of hoggs around saw trade a little sharper than that of last week. As is the story the length and breadth of the country, it's the heavier sorts which have taken the biggest knock in recent weeks. Add this to the cost of feeding and it makes perfect sense to get amongst your hoggs. Another outstanding ewe trade was witnessed in Dingwall for a show really lacking in weight. More export ewes were around and again the best pure
Continental sorts were nearly non existent. Nevertheless a phenomenal average of £99 per head was achieved, as the busy ringside was eager to obtain numbers."
