"Hogg trade followed the national trend and was easier overall on the week. The repeated message to vendors is that you don't require to make your hoggs heavy. Yet again the vast proportion of hoggs were in the heavy bracket and continue to be the hardest commodity to cash. Export types were in seriously short supply and are only a couple of pounds behind the heavies.
Another grand ewe trade was witnessed this week. Weight and class were in short supply with the majority of ewes forward being gathered from the hills. Despite the lack of weight around the sale still levelled at £97 per head as we have a buyer for every commodity on the market here in Dingwall."

*Notice to Vendors*
Could all vendors of prime lambs please deliver their lambs to the Mart before 10.30 A.M. to allow us time to have them clipped prior to the start of the sale. Thank You.
