Prime heifers (17) averaged 250.1p (-1.2p) and sold to 267.0p per kg and £1,568.60 gross.

Prime heifers (17) averaged 250.1p (-1.2p) and sold to 267.0p per kg for a 550kg Limousin cross from Ashley, North Kessock and £1,568.60 gross for a 620kg Limousin cross from Lower Whitebog, Fortrose.

New season lambs (37) averaged 296.4p (-9.8p) and sold to 317.5p per kg for a pen of 40kg Texel crosses from Balintore, Farms, Fearn selling to Messrs John M Munro Ltd, Dingwall and £145 gross for a pen of Suffolks from Glendonan, Knockfarrel also selling to Messrs John M Munro Ltd, Dingwall.
Old season lambs (91) averaged 232.2p (-29.2p) and sold to 254.3p per kg for a pen of 40.5kg Blackfaces from Teawig, Beauly and £126 gross for a pen of Texel crosses from The Workshop, Wester Cairnglass.
Feeding sheep (459) sold to £202 gross for a Texel ewe from Woodend, Killearnan.

“A small number of new season and old season lambs were forward. New season lambs slightly easier on week and a very mixy show of old season were had to cash as most companies have made the transition into new season lambs. Well fleshed hoggs are still keenly bid for, however lesser rates than of late, A great number of ewes again forward this week from all over the north. Strong well fleshed ewes of all breeds still sell past seller's expectations.”
