Prime Bullocks (4) averaged 229.2p per kg (-16.7p) and sold to 238.0p per kg for a 600kg Simmental from Allanglach, North Kessock selling to Messrs J M Munro Ltd, Dingwall and £1,734.85 gross for a 785kg Saler cross also from Allanglach, North Kessock.
Prime Heifers (12) averaged 248.4p per kg (-1.0p) and sold to 263.0p per kg for a 565kg Limousin cross from
Bridgend Farm, Dingwall selling to Messrs Fraser Brothers, Butchers, Dingwall and £1,628.10 gross for a 670kg Charolais cross also from Bridgend Farm, Dingwall.

New Season Lambs (599) averaged 218.7 (+2.2p) and sold to 239.3p per kg for a pen of Texel crosses from Inveruglas Farm, Kingussie and £120 gross for a pen of crosses from Ashintully Castle, Kirkmichael.
SQQ 25.5kg to 45.5kg (346) averaged 222.4p (+3.2p) per kg.
Feeding Sheep (527) sold to £142 gross for a Cheviot Ram from Clachan Farm, Lochbroom.
Lewis Livestock (583) sold to £113 gross for a Cheviot Ram from 31 North Tolsta.

"Lambs cashed in at comparable rates on the week despite there being less weight around. Heavier sorts are still the keenest sought after commodity on the market.
An exceptional number of ewes forward saw the best part of 1,100 go under the hammer. There was a distinct lack of power around as the sale consisted of mostly feeding types and in particular horned ewes. Trade was similar to last week as a busy ringside fought to obtain the required numbers."
