Following a rewarding ewe dispersal at the previous sale D MacDonald bowed out in style by setting a new centre record of £850 for a 2-shear island born Texel from Lower Reiss bloodlines. Showing his power and character in the ring, he combined shape with excellent functional attributes and great locomotion with the winning bid from Noah Williamson, Pardo Flock, meeting applause from an enthused ringside crowd."
