DINGWALL, Dingwall & Highland Marts ltd, (November 10th) sold 4,362 store sheep of all classes.

Lambs (2,632) averaged £61.09 and sold to £126 gross for a Hampshire down fro Marian, Evanton.
Ewes (1,492) sold to £146 gross for a pair of Texel crosses from 2 Lochend, Barrock.
Rams (116) sold to £295 gross for a Cheviot Ram from Achnaclerach, Garve.
Gimmers (67) sold to £136 gross for a Mule gimmer from Hobbyfield.
Feeding Sheep (55) sold to £106 gross for cheviot wedder from 287 Morness, Rogart.

"Another big number of Store sheep was forward in Dingwall and vendors were greeted with a phenomenal trade throughout. All classes were sharper than the last sale and a packed ringside of buyers were out in force from Scotland, England and Wales. Stronger lambs would be privy to the largest increase. Ewe trade was also firmer keeping in line with trade seen here on Tuesday."
