Bronze SCQF Award For Wick High School
23rd December 2022
From Wick High School.
We are please to announce that the school recently gained a Bronze award as part of the SCQF School Ambassador Programme. SCQF stands for Scottish Credit and Qualifications Framework. The SCQF shows how all qualifications in Scotland, such as those awarded by SQA and universities, compare with each other.
The SCQF School Ambassador programme offers schools the opportunity to learn more about the benefits of the SCQF and the wider pathways in which it supports learners.
Our WHS Ambassador team recently undertook training on the work of the SCQF and engaged with pupils and parent's at our recent senior parent's evenings.
As part of our work with the SCQF, we have been expanding the range of qualifications available and working with our partners to recognise achievement across the school.
The school is delighted with progress being made and aims to continue their work, achieving the Silver award in 2023.
