"Centre records in Dingwall are toppling on a weekly basis and this week it was the turn of the store cattle arena. The top gross price for a pen of store bullocks realised £2,120 from Sheeppark setting a new centre record in the process. Buyers from near and far battled through the winter elements to enter another battle zone in the store cattle arena. Another phenomenal trade greeted vendors old and new which exceeded all expectations. Many pens of Continental and Angus cattle surpassed the £3 per kg mark with ease and if it wasn't for the influx of more weathered native sorts the magical £3 per kg average would have been achieved."
