DINGWALL, Dingwall & Highland Marts Ltd., (December, 1st) sold 94 weaned calves and store cattle, 15 adult head of breeding cattle, and 61 OTM cattle.
Bullocks (46) averaged 146.2p and sold to 178.2p per kg for a pen of 303kg Charolais crosses from Abersky, Torness, and £760 gross for a pen of 533kg Aberdeen Angus crosses from Viewhill, Rearquhar.
Heifers (48) averaged 138.9p and sold to 173.4p per kg for a 320kg Charolais cross from Abersky and £690 gross for a 500kg Limousin cross from Seafield Park, Nairn.
Breeding cattle (15) sold to £1,250 gross for a Limousin cross heifer with a heifer calf at foot from Littleburn, Munlochy.
OTM cows (53) averaged 85.6p and sold to 126.7p per kg for a 675kg Limousin cross from Little Kildrummie, Nairn, and £915 gross for a 910kg Limousin cross from Pitmain, Kingussie.
OTM clean bullocks & heifers (8) averaged 99.8p and sold to 116p per kg and £945 gross for an 815kg Limousin cross bullock from Littleburn.
