“Lamb trade followed the national trend at the tail end of last week and on a whole were easier. More leaner lambs were forward today and met a bit of resistance, whereas the well fleshed and shapey lambs were keenly bid for and many more could easily have been sold. The ewe trade remains firm despite nearly all the number forward today being of the smaller hill type variety. More are required on a weekly basis to fulfill the large customer demand here at Dingwall, so get amongst your ewes and get them cashed!”
