DINGWALL., Dingwall and Highlands Marts Ltd (September 29th) sold 5,489 Store lambs & feeding sheep.
Lambs (5,431) averaged £62.28 and sold to £117 gross for a pen of Charolais crosses from Wester Ardroy, Balchraggan
Ewes and feeding sheep (58) sold to £136 gross for a Texel cross ewe from Ivy Cottage, Thurso.

"The final swansong of the week saw another grand number of store lambs go under the hammer to a busy ringside of buyer. A brisk trade greeted vendors with trade been dearer than the previous sale despite vendors getting down the cuts of this year's lamb crop."
