NSL SQQ Lambs (389) averaged 237.3p per kg.

New Season Lambs (683) averaged 237.6p per kg and sold to 267.0p per kg for a pen of 49kg Beltex crosses from Inveruglas Farm, Kingussie selling to Fraser Brother Butchers, Dingwall and £134 gross for a pair of 57kg Charollais crosses from Essil, Garmouth.
Feeding Sheep (673) sold to £168 gross for a Texel cross ewe from Conon Mains, Conon Bridge.

"Another solid lamb trade greeted vendors today, however the usual story of too many lean sheep forward is plaguing the sale average. A fantastic number of ewes met a flying trade, cashing in at dearer levels in particular the mules."
