DINGWALL, Dingwall & Highland Marts Ltd., (September, 16th) sold 6,231 store lambs and ewes including 871 on behalf of Lewis Livestock Producers.
Lambs (5,198) sold to £60 gross for Suffolk crosses from 22 Achfrish, Lairg.
Ewes & gimmers (160) sold to £80 gross for Texel ewes from 40 Newton Street, Stornoway.
Lewis Livestock Producers lambs (657) sold to £56 gross for Texel crosses from 15 Laxay, Isle of Lewis.
Lewis Livestock Producers feeding sheep (214) sold to £61 gross for Cheviot ewes from 40 Crossbost, Lochs.
