Bullocks (442) averaged 391.6p per kg and sold to 600.0p per kg for a 200kg Limousin crosses from Clovullin, Fort William and £2,300 gross for a 580kg Charolais cross from The Cloy, Fortrose.
Heifers (197) averaged 375.5p per kg and sold to 478.3p per kg for a pen of 276kg British blue crosses from Shewglie Farmers, Glenurquhart and £2,320 gross for a pair of 600kg Simmental crosses from Borlum, Scaniport.
Young Bulls (2) sold to £1,820 gross for a 605kg Aberdeen Angus from South Balkeith, Tain.
Breeding cattle (10) sold to £2,280 gross for Limousin bull from Glenside, Glenurquhart.
"Hickory dickory dock, store cattle trades off the clock! When the bell rang at 10am until the last hammer fell at 3pm the store ring was an electric dream, smashing every store cattle record throughout the day. All classes from the strongest, to leaner smaller stirks met a phenomenal enquiry from a full ringside and many headed home empty handed."
