DINGWALL, Dingwall & Highland Marts Ltd., (February, 23rd) sold 27 registered Cheviot females at its Harbro sponsored show and sale.
Hill Register judge Mr A. Campbell, Mill House, Thurso, awarded his champion to the first prize in lamb ewe, a Forest Farm Flashman daughter carrying twins to Brackside Maverick from Mr W. M. Sutherland, Brackside, Reay, realising £500 to the judge, with the reserve award going to the second prize ewe, a homebred daughter carrying a pair to Keoldale Supertoop, from Suisgill Estate, Sutherland, which realised £700 to the Messrs A. & D. Renwick, Keppoch, Dundonnell.
The Main Register judge, Mr H. M. Sutherland, Drummuie, Golspie, awarded his champion to the first prize in lamb gimmer from Biggins, Wick, sired by Broomhillbank Sensation, and the reserve award to the first prize ewe lamb, sired by Wemyss Castle, from Messrs J & J Farquhar, Smiddyquoy, Watten, realising £300 to the judge.

Main register - two gimmers, £450; six ewe lambs, £235.
Hill register - two gimmers, £275; fifteen ewes, £304.67; two ewe lambs, £260.
