Bullocks (701) averaged 233.7p and sold to 303.8p per kg for a 260kg a Blonde d'Aquitaine cross from Udale, Poyntzfield, and £1,340 gross for a 640kg Limousin cross from Feabuie, Inverness.
Heifers (404) averaged 222p and sold to 345p per kg and £1,380 gross for a 400kg Limousin cross from Kinnahaird, Contin.
OTM cows (22) averaged 146.7p per kg and sold to 187.1p per kg and £1,310 gross for a 700kg Simmental cross from Udale, Poyntzfield.
OTM bulls (4) sold to 127.3p per kg for a 960kg Charolais from 4 Glaick, Ardross, and £1,410 gross for a 1,080kg Charolais from Ardjachie, Tain.
OTM heifers (2) sold to 166p per kg for a 500kg Limousin cross from Garbeg, Drumnadrochit, and £1,010 gross for a 620kg Shorthorn cross from Ashley, North Kessock.
OTM bullocks (one) sold to 141.4p per kg and £990 gross for a Limousin cross from Borowston Mains, Thurso.
The Robertson’s of Tain and Harbro sponsored show and sale of store cattle judged by Alex Henderson Esq., Dalruscan Farm, Amisfield, Dumfries, awarded his overall champion to a 475kg Limousin cross bullock from Mr J. Farquharson, 25 Camult Muir, Kiltarlity, realising £1,160 gross to Messrs G & S McConnachie, Berrybrae, Wardhouse. Reserve champion was a 465kg Limousin cross bullock also from 25 Camult Muir, realising £1,100 gross also to Messrs G & S McConnachie, Berrybrae.
