DINGWALL, Dingwall & Highland Marts Ltd., (September, 5th) sold 12,367 store lambs.
Cheviot lambs (12,367) averaged £46.32 and sold to £69 gross for a pen of ewe lambs from the Ardchronie, Ardgay.
“Firmer trade than expected with second draw lambs showing an increase on the last sale, however due to the difficult spring and early summer with lambs not looking as good as last year an overall sale average of £3.15 less on the corresponding sale.”
