DINGWALL, Dingwall & Highland Marts Ltd., (September, 26th) sold 7,239 breeding and store sheep.
Breeding ewes (4,490) averaged £51.39 (- £8.18 on the year) and sold to £115 gross for Cheviot Mules from the dispersal of the Bindal flock, Portmahomack.
Feeding ewes (1,358) averaged £33.50 (- £8.62 on the year) and sold to £70 gross for Cheviots from Knockglass, Dornoch.
Gimmers (1,102) averaged £94.80 (- £13.08 on the year) and sold to £156 gross for Texel crosses from Greenacres, Barbaraville.
Rams and wedders (78) sold to £320 gross for a Texel ram from the dispersal of the Bindal flock.
