Lambs (3,538) averaged £49.66 and sold to £88 gross for Beltex crosses from Dulsie Farm, Glenferness.
Ewes (969) sold to £81 gross for Charollais crosses from Simpson’s Croft, Scotsburn.
Gimmers (25) sold to £60 gross for Cheviots from Pittentrail, Rogart, (Murray).
Feeding sheep (572) sold to £78 gross for a Cheviot ram from Cambusmore Estate, Dornoch.
Rams (two) sold to £260 gross twice for a Cheviot ram from Cambusmore Estate, Dornoch and a Texel from 17 Mellon Charles, Aultbea.

“All classes of lambs met a considerable increase on the last sale with prime and feeding ewes also firmer.”
