DINGWALL, Dingwall & Highland Marts Ltd., (October, 11th) sold 5,178 store sheep.
Lambs (3,538) averaged �49.66 and sold to �88 gross for Beltex crosses from Dulsie Farm, Glenferness.
Ewes (969) sold to �81 gross for Charollais crosses from Simpson�s Croft, Scotsburn.
Gimmers (25) sold to �60 gross for Cheviots from Pittentrail, Rogart, (Murray).
Feeding sheep (572) sold to �78 gross for a Cheviot ram from Cambusmore Estate, Dornoch.
Rams (two) sold to �260 gross twice for a Cheviot ram from Cambusmore Estate, Dornoch and a Texel from 17 Mellon Charles, Aultbea.

�All classes of lambs met a considerable increase on the last sale with prime and feeding ewes also firmer.�
