DINGWALL, Dingwall & Highland Marts Ltd., (March, 19th) sold 620 store cattle, 2 adult head of breeding cattle and 48 OTM cattle.
Bullocks (355) averaged 245.4p and sold to 304.0p per kg for a 375kg Limousin cross from Lower Whitebog, Fortrose, and £1,440 gross for a pen of 660kg Charolais crosses from Redfield, North Kessock.
Heifers (262) averaged 231.2p and sold to 274.7p per kg for a pen of 273kg Limousin crosses from Kennachy, Forss, and £1,300 gross for a 505kg Charolais cross from Ashlea, Milton of Culloden.
Young bulls (3) averaged 196.4p and sold to 216.2p per kg and £800 gross for a pair of Aberdeen Angus crosses from Ardheslaig, Strathconon.
OTM cows (45) averaged 130p per kg and sold to 155.2p per kg for a Charolais cross from, Cranford, Gollanfield and £1,210 gross for a 910kg Charolais cross from Torran, Delny.
OTM heifers (one) sold to 193.7p per kg and £1,230 gross for a Limousin cross from Slattadale, Achnasheen.
OTM bullocks (one) sold to 226.0p per kg and £1,360 gross for a Limousin cross from Lower Gledfield, Ardgay.
OTM bulls (one) sold to 107.3p per kg and £1,170 gross for a Simmental from Shantullich, Munlochy.
