DINGWALL, Dingwall & Highland Marts, (September, 4th) sold 1,844 store and breeding sheep incorporating annual sale of HISHA accredited sheep and 1335 on behalf of Lewis Livestock Producers.
Store lambs (739) averaged £45.30 and sold to £60 gross for Texel crosses from 2 Englishtonmuir, Bunchrew.
Ewe lambs (464) averaged £75.72 and sold to £110 gross for Bleu Du Maine crosses from Seafield House, Portmahomack.
Gimmers (242) averaged £124.79 and sold to £200 gross twice for Cheviot Mules and Suffolks both from Taldale, Forss.
Ewes (388) sold to £170 gross for Suffolks from Taldale.
Lewis Livestock Producers lambs (1,335) averaged £34.94 and sold to £55 gross for a Cross from 17 Laxay, Lochs.
