DINGWALL, Dingwall & Highland Marts Ltd., (September, 25th) sold 4,396 breeding and store sheep.
Breeding ewes (2,522) sold to £122 gross for Texel crosses from the dispersal of the Ballachraggan flock, Kildary.
Feeding ewes (667) sold to £93 gross for Cheviots from Knockglass, Dornoch.
Gimmers (562) averaged £118.52 and sold to £187 gross for Cheviots from Smerlie, Lybster.
Lambs (566) sold to £75 gross for Cheviot from 91/92 Achviach, Dornoch.
Rams and wedders (54) sold to £260 gross for a Texel from the Ballachraggan dispersal.
