DINGWALL, Dingwall & Highland Marts Ltd., (November, 6th) sold 4,583 store sheep.
Lambs (3,133) averaged £48.59 and sold to £86 gross for Mule ewe lambs from Lower Gaich, Dulnain Bridge.
Gimmers (57) sold to £105 gross for Cheviots from 9 Kingsmills, Inverness.
Ewes (1,242) sold to £96 gross for Cheviots from West View, Inverness.
Rams (111) sold to £250 gross for a Cheviot from Achanalt Farm Partners.
Wedders (38) sold to £86 gross for Cheviots from Burnside, Bonar Bridge.
"All classes of lambs, prime and feeding sheep other than small weathered lambs, increased in value on the last sale. Breeding sheep met a satisfactory demand."
