DINGWALL, Dingwall & Highland Marts (November, 8th) sold 147 cattle, 3 horses, 25 goats, 649 sheep including 141 Zwartbles, 598 lots of poultry, eggs and poultry equipment at their poultry, rare & traditional breeds of livestock sale.
Cattle (147) sold to £1300 gross twice for an in calf Longhorn heifer and a Longhorn cow with calf at foot, both from Bogburn, Duncanston.
Goats (25) sold to £180 gross for a Pygmy billy goat, from Burnside of Tillykeira, Lonmay.
Sheep (649) sold to £300 gross for Hampshire gimmers from St Clements Well, East Lothian.
Zwartbles (141) sold to £500 gross for an in lamb gimmer from Greystone Farm, Dunblane
Poultry (598) sold to £240 gross for a pair of white call ducks from Westquoy, Orkney.
