at their Special Sale.

Prime bullocks to 126p and �825.30 gross for a 655kg Limousin from D A Budge, Brae-edge, Castletown.

New Season Prime lambs to 109.7p for four 46kg Texels from J A Morris, Olrig Mains, Castletown and �62 gross for two 60kg Texels and a 60kg Suffolk all from Stainland & Sibmister Farms, Castletown.

QUOYBRAE, Aberdeen and Northern Marts (October 20th) sold 104 Texel, Suffolk and Border Leicester rams and ram lambs under the auspices of the Caithness Sheep Breeders Association Champion Texel a shearling by Stockhill Kasper from R MacKay, Clyth Mains, Lybster sold for �620 to J Munro, Pitkerrie, Fearn. Reserve was a ram lamb by Miller's Miles from C and I Angus, Oldfield Farm, Thurso and sold for �350 to A Webster, Lower Reiss Farm, Wick.

QUOYBRAE, Aberdeen & Northern Marts (3rd September) sold 6,133 Store Lambs at the re-sheduled first combined sale from Dunbeath, Bettyhill, Forsinard and North West Sutherland areas. Overall average was �29.06 showing a decrease of �2.05 from Dunbeath & Bettyhill areas and a decrease of �1.24 on all other areas from last year.
