Bullocks (724) averaged 232.4p and sold to 293.3p per kg for a pair of 225kg a Limousin crosses from Westburn, Thurso, and £1,420 gross for the reserve champion, a 610kg Limousin cross from Easter Clune, Lethen.
Heifers (448) averaged 212.2p and sold to 261.2p per kg for a 425kg Charolais cross from Lyne of Urchany Farm, Nairn, and £1,300 gross for a 540kg British Blue cross from Meikle Geddes Farm, Nairn.
Young bulls (2) averaged 201.5p and sold to 250p per kg and £750 gross for a 300kg Limousin cross from Tullieglens, Dunphail.
OTM cows (22) averaged 126.1p per kg and sold to 176.6p per kg and £1,210 gross for a 685kg Simmental cross from Dunain Mains, Inverness.
The Robertson's of Tain, Harbro & Surecalf sponsored show and sale of store cattle judged by Dean Anderson, Smallburn Farms, Elgin, awarded his overall champion to a 500kg Limousin cross bullock from Mr J. A. Pirie, Chapelpark Farm, Kingussie, realising £1,300 gross to Messrs D. & V. Buchan, Savoch, Peterhead. Reserve champion was a 610kg Limousin cross bullock from Messrs J. M. Fraser & Son, Easter Clune, Lethen, realising £1,420 gross to Mr W. Gracey, Tehillah Farm, Fyvie.
