DINGWALL, Dingwall & Highland Marts Ltd, (August, 28th) sold 112 rams at its fourth annual ‘Great from Grass' on farm sale of rams at Fearn Farm, Tain, on behalf of Messrs J Scott & Partners.

Texel shearlings (44) averaged £739.77 and sold to 1300 guineas.
New Zealand Suffolk & SuffTex shearlings (25) averaged £629.16 and sold to 750 guineas.
Beltex shearlings (8) averaged £521.06 and sold to 650 guineas.
Aberfield shearlings (35) averaged £796.50 and sold to 1000 guineas thrice.

"An increased number saw demand remain extremely good at what is now a well-established event in the sales calendar."
