LOCHMADDY, Dingwall & Highland Marts Ltd., (September, 2nd) sold 2,430 store lambs.
Lambs (2,430) sold to £72 per head for Cheviots from 24 Liniclate, Benbecula.
"Lambs were shown in surprisingly good bloom considering the wet season, with all classes in particular Suffolk crosses meeting a strong demand, and showing an overall sale average increase of £2.78."
