FORT WILLIAM, Dingwall & Highland Marts Ltd., (September, 15th) sold 2,382 store sheep of all classes.
Lambs (1,917) averaged £36.29 per head and sold to £55 gross for a Suffolk cross from Traigh Farm, Arisaig.
Ewes (435) sold to £60 gross for Jacobs from Rowanlea, Fort Augustus.
Feeding sheep (30) sold to £50 gross for a Blackface ram from 16 Moss, Acharacle.
"Once again an excellent show forward met a satisfactory trade with Blackface lambs particularly in demand."
